TAYLOR-MCGLOTHLIN

Melissa Dawn McGlothlin and Darren Rex Taylor were married January 12, 1991, in Bonsack United Methodist Church. The Rev. James J. Butcher officiated. The reception was held at Bonsack United Methodist Church fellowship hall. The matron of honor was Lisa S. Witt, best friend of the bride. The bridesmaid was Mary E. Courey, a friend. The best man was William W. King, step-father. The usher was Antonio S. Scott, a friend. The guestbook was attended by Elizabeth C. Lago. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. McGlothin of Roanoke. She graduated from William Byrd High School and is attending National Business College. She is employed by Dominion Bankshares Corporation. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. King of Indpendence, Va. He is a graduate of Independence High School and National Business College. He is employed by National Business College. The newlyweds will live in Salem after a brief honeymoon.
