It was the second consecutive championship for the Marlins (25-4), who took the lead for good in overtime on two free throws by Greg Melvin.
George Wythe (22-4) never got closer than two points as Mario Mullen hit four straight free throws and Warrenton Parker hit two of four.

Down 6-2 early in the game, Bayside ran off 11 straight points to go up 13-7. The Marlins led until Johnson hit the 3-pointer just before intermission.
