Addison Clay Rucker Sr., age 80, of Salem, passed away Friday. He was a long time member of the Fort Lewis Baptist Church and retired from the Norfolk & Western Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Lahma Virginia Price Rucker; two sons and daughters-in-law, Addison C. and Janice Burnop Rucker Jr., Salem; Harold Lloyd and Cora Lee Rucker Sr., Vinton; one brother, William Bill Rucker, Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. David (Nancy) Coulter, Roanoke; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Fort Lewis Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Hatton officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
