C. Bruce Harris, age 62, of Salem, died Saturday, March 16, 1991. He was retired from the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Norma Jean Harris; three sons, Roger Blake Harris, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Bruce Samuel Harris, Salem; Mark Allen Harris, Roanoke; one daughter, Linda Harris Jacocks, Virginia Beach; stepdaughters, Karen Wright, Richmond; Linda Stump, Strasburg; three sisters, Weeda Wood, Martinsville; Nannie Hambrick, Willis; Grace Alderman, Radford; one grandson, Matthew Kyle Jacocks, Virginia Beach; three stepgrandsons, Butch and Chris Wright, Kena Stump. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, with the Rev. T.G. Ayers officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
