OBIT-CORRELL, P.

Phillip W. Correll, age 26, of Vinton, died Saturday. He was an officer with the Roanoke City Police Department and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Surviving are his parents, H. Wayne and Doris Correll, Roanoke; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Mark Kesterson, Rocky Mount; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Light, Floyd County. Services will be from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Charles R. Doyle will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, Botetourt County. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
