MARION - Mrs. Virginia Moore Porter, widow of James Oliver Porter, died Sunday, March 17, 1991, in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home. She was a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and a member of the Marion Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Martha) Major of Williamsburg, Virginia and Mrs. Paul L. (Mary) Blevins of Marion; two sons, Mr. Michael Porter of Meadowview, Virginia and Mr. Robert (Bobby) Porter of Roanoke; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. William A. Slater officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Marion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
