OBIT-SCHNURMAN, E.

Ella Sue Schnurman, age 62, of Roanoke, passed away Monday in the VA Medical Center, Salem. She was a retired nurse in the Marine Corps (serving during the Korean Conflict), was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of AMVETS. Surviving are two brothers, Marcus Schnurman, Roanoke; and Nathan J. Schnurman, Hollybank, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Wednesday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Father Lloyd F. Stephenson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
