Mr. Jacob (Jake) William Blair, age 77, of Salem, died Monday March 18, 1991. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Scottie and Sidney Woolwine, Christiansburg; daughter, Sue B. Jones, Christiansburg; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew J. and Constance Blair, Boones Mill; sister, Mary Rankhorn, Hermitage, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Hall Trivett, Elk Park, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Mildred Blair, Linville, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Joyce Blair, Lavergne, Tenn.; granddaughter, Lisa Jones; grandson, Jacob Blair; special friends, Frankie Banton, Gus and Kandis Necessary. Graveside funeral services will be held at Elk Valley Church Cemetery in Banner Elk, N.C. 3:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Brent Nidiffer officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem.
