OBIT-CLIFTON, P.

Pauline H. Clifton of Roanoke passed away Monday, March 18, 1991, at Lewis-Gale Hospital. She attended Grandin Court Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, D. Lee Handy, a sister, Myrtle H. Goard, and brother, J.D. Handy. Surviving are her husband, Guy S. Clifton; mother, Mrs. Callie M. Handy, Ridgeway; three sisters, Thelma H. Spangler, Patrick County; Delcie M. Blades, Northern Virginia; Irene H. Joyce, Ridgeway; a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert M. Hamner officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel.
