WILLIS - Lula Duke Turman, age 56, died Sunday, March 17, 1991, at her home. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Walter Ray and Ella Marie Turman, Willis; her mother, Thera Tesley Duke, Durham, N.C.; two granddaughters, Crystal Lynn Turman and Christina Mae Turman, both of Willis; five brothers, Edward Duke, Roanoke; Odell Duke, Creedmoor, N.C.; James Duke, Chapel Hill, N.C.; Fred Duke, Durham, N.C.; Johnny Duke, Efland, N.C. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will be in the Turman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
