NEWPORT - Crockett Brown Reynolds, age 81, died in Montgomery Regional Hospital on Monday, March 18, 1991. He was a lifetime resident and farmer in Giles County and the youngest of eleven children born to the late William P. and Willie Hutchison Reynolds. Survivors include a sister, Eva R. Helms of the home; a brother, Howard M. Reynolds, also of Newport. Other survivors include three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Reynolds, Blacksburg; Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, Newport; Mrs. Henreitta Reynolds, Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at the Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 20, 1991, at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Reggie Rumburg will officiate. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke from 7:00 to 9:00 Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to the Newport Rescue Squad or the Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
