NARROWS - Willard Jackson Turner, 67, of Narrows died Tuesday morning in a Princeton, West Virginia hospital. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born on September 9, 1923 and was the son of the late James Jackson and Evie Lee Davis Turner. He was a member of Intermont Lodge #269 A.F. & A.M. of Narrows, The Scottish Rites of Freemasons of Richmond, Va., a member of the Cornerstone Penecostal Holiness Church of Narrows, Internal Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local #45 of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Davis Turner; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde J. and Valerie Turner of Narrows; Larry L. and Brenda Turner of Narrows; Jeffrey A. Turner of Narrows; two daughters and son-in-law, Jackie and Steve Wade of Narrows; Miss Carolyn S. Turner, Bridgewater; one brother, Myrtus Turner of McGaheysville; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Whitlow of Narrows; Mrs. Mary Thomas of Princeton, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Michael, Vanessa, Valerie and Corey Wade of Narrows; Chad and Ryan Turner of Narrows; Emily and Kelsey Turner of Narrows. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Rev. Kim Jones and Michael Lynn, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Rich Creek, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 and from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
