CHECK - Lake Wood Willis, age 77, died Monday, March 18, 1991, in a Salem hospital. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Edna Mae and Jack Morris, Check; Ruth W. Price; Carol and James Conner, both of Christiansburg; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Wesley and Dixie Willis, Germantown, Ohio; W. J. and Mary Willis, Vandalia, Ohio; Jerry and Sandy Willis, Shelby Township, Mich.; Michael Wray Willis, Check; two brothers, Frank Wood, Richmond; Haven Wood, Cascade, Md.; two sisters, Lenora Linkous, Christiansburg; Mary Sue Glass, Woodbridge; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with the Rev. Roy L. Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
