ART, WRITING AWARDS CEREMONY THURSDAY

The Appalachian Art and Writing Awards ceremony will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in Godbey Hall, room 141, at New River Community College.

Winners will be announced and then top award winners will read from their works before the group moves to the president's lobby to view award-winning art.

The event is sponsored by the Appalachian Awareness Committee at the college and the Pulaski County High School Appalkids. For information, call 674-3600.
