RADFORD - Virdie Virginia Christian Terry, age 67, of Rt. 2, Radford, Va. and formerly of Lindside, W. Va. and Dublin, Va. died Tuesday afternoon in the Radford Community Hospital, Radford, Va. Born January 27, 1924 in McDowell County, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Issac Daily Christian and Sylvania Workman Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dexter Terry. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Pauline) Parrott, Foster Falls, Va.; Mrs. Bobby (Geneva) Cole, Dublin; Mrs. Berman (Jean) Stowers, Pulaski; Mrs. Billy (June) Anderson, Pulaski; two sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert Lee Terry and Edna Terry, Radford; Calvin Ray Terry and Pauletta Terry, Christiansburg; twenty-one grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Oma Masters, Radford; Mrs. Arthur (Beulah) Rice, Radford; Mrs. Henry (Shirley) Riner, Peterstown, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary Lambert, Peterstown, W. Va.; Mrs. Effie Rader, Blacksburg; Mrs. Darrell (Lola) Huffman, Gallipolis, Ohio; two brothers, Hobert Russell Christian, Dublin; Willard Lawrence Christian, Christiansburg. Funeral service will be conducted Friday, 2:00 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Dublin with the Rev. Ralph Smithson and the Rev. Roy Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradley Cemetery, Lindside, W.Va. Visiting will be after 12:00 Noon Thursday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Dublin. The family will be meeting at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Edna Terry, Rt. 2, Radford. Bower Funeral Chapel, East Main St., Dublin is handling the arrangements.
