HOT SPRINGS - Mrs. Lucille Hawes Feild, 87, of Route 2, Hot Springs, Va., formerly of Roanoke, Va., died Tuesday, in Springs Nursing Home, Hot Springs. She was the widow of Rev. John F. W. Feild, Sr. Mrs. Feild was born May 18, 1903, in Lynchburg, Va., a daughter of the late John Broaddus Hawes and Gussie Shaner Hawes. She attended St. Luke Episcopal Church. She is survived by one son, Robert B. Feild of Hot Springs; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, John F. W. Feild, Jr. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Norfolk, Va. with the Father Herbert Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Parrish House in Norfolk. Memorial tributes may take the form of contributions to the Church of the Advent. Loving Funeral Home in Covington is handling the arrangements.
