GENERALS POUND LYNCHBURG

Drew Anton and Jeff Roberts had four goals and two assists each as Washington and Lee defeated Lynchburg 14-5 on Wednesday in men's college lacrosse at Wilson Field.

The four goals and six points were career highs for Anton.

Todd Garliss added three goals and Clark Wight, John Hunter and Jay West added a goal each for the Generals (5-1 overall, 3-1 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference).

Rhys Brooks, Joseph Albano, Brent Meyer, Tom Sipple and Geoff Graham scored for 20th-ranked Lynchburg (3-2, 0-1), and Tom Sipple had three assists. see
