Others scheduled to attend are Tennessee Secretary of State Bryant Millsaps and Mayors John S. Gaines of Bristol, Tenn., and James F. Rector, Bristol, Va. The theatre is located on State Street, which divides the two Bristols.
The remaining contributors will be invited to tour what will now be known as the Paramount Center from 1 to 3 p.m. April 27. The theatre will be open to the public from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Paramount Foundation worked for years to match a $1 million grant from the Tennessee legislature, obtaining donations from more than 1,000 corporations, businesses and individuals.
Foundation Chairman Francis L. Leonard and board President James M. Stone will preside at the opening, which will be televised by the Nashville Network and local television stations.
A schedule of programs has already been lined up for the renovated theatre building, which had been closed for several years. Theatre Bristol, a 26-year-old organization, will perform "Sleeping Beauty" May 1-3 and 8-10; "Pump Boys and Dinettes," May 17-19, and "Big River," June 14-15 and 21-23.

Also scheduled are performances by the Bristol Concert Choir on May 4 and the Kingsport Symphony Orchestra on May 12.
