SCHOOLGIRL NOW SAYS SHE LIED ABOUT RAPE

A 14-year-old middle school girl who told police she was raped at knife-point in a school bathroom has admitted that she lied, authorities said.

"The young woman has admitted to police that a rape did not take place," George Raiss, a school system spokesman, said Wednesday. "Anything that did take place was consensual."
