Richard Loran Hale, Jr., age 21, of 1436 6 1/2 Street SE Roanoke, passed away Wednesday night at the result of an automobile accident. He was a driver for Truck Enterprises of Roanoke. Surviving are his parents, Richard L. Hale, Sr. and Janet F. Hale; one sister, Janice Driscoll, Roanoke; paternal grandparents, Frank and Elsie Hale, Roanoke; maternal grandmother, Mary L. Thornhill, Roanoke; his girlfriend, Sarendia Parrish, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, March 23, 1991 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Carter L. Sloan will officiate. Burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
