ELLER, THURMAN R.

PILOT - Thurman Rufus Eller, age 80, of Laburnum Road, died Thursday, March 21, 1991 at his home. Surviving are his wife, Annie L. Eller; a daughter, Lula Bell Ables, Chesapeake; sons, Joel D. Eller, Stephen B. (Johnny) Eller, both of Pilot; E. Randy Eller, Shiloh; three sisters, Hazel Martin, Hinton, W.Va.; Johncie Wimmer, Cagley, W.Va.; Betty Harless, Bluefield, W.Va.; four brothers, Jack Eller, Crossville, Tenn.; Claude Eller, Chicago, Ill.; Wade Eller, Stafford; Homer Eller, Rock, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel conducted by Rev. James Kittinger and Rev. Leon Alley with burial in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
