BUENA VISTA - John Dudley Davis, age 62, died March 20, 1991, in a Lexington hospital. He was born in Amherst County April 26, 1928, the son of Mrs. Rena Sandidge Davis of Buena Vista and the late Walter A. Davis. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Vicky D. Markham, Greensboro, N.C.; one son, Gary W. Davis, Buchanan; one sister, Mrs. Betty Jarvis, Buena Vista; one brother, Elwood W. Davis, Buena Vista; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dean Staton and the Rev. Jess Truax. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
