UVA'S STALEY GETS THIRD PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Women's Basketball Coaches' Association has chosen Staley the Division I Player of the Year.

It's the third player of the year honor received by Staley this year. Sports Illustrated and the ACC also have bestowed the honor upon the Philadelphia native.

Staley holds Virginia's career record for free throws made and her 200 assists this season are the most in the Cavaliers' record book. - Staff report
