ODAC DECIDES NOT TO SPLIT MEN'S BASKETBALL

Citing the strength of the competition within the league, the athletic directors and presidents of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference have decided to keep the double round-robin regular season format in men's basketball, the Division III league announced Thursday.

An alternate plan would have been to split the 10 men's basketball teams into two five-team divisions. Teams would play each division member twice and non-division member once.
