Ms. Verla Jane Quesenberry, age 69, passed away Friday morning at her home. She was born in Carroll County October 31, 1921 to the late Franklin Leonard Quesenberry and Maude Nester. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joyce C. Daniel, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one son, Mr. Jerry Keith Goad, Staunton; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Horton, Hillsville; three brothers, Charlie Quesenberry, Hillsville; Archie R. Quesenberry, Beltsville, Md.; Tommy R. Quesenberry, Dugspur; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, also survive. Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn McGrady Chapel conducted by Elder Melvin McGrady with burial in the Quesenberry Family Cemetery at Dugspur. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn McGrady Funeral Home, Hillsville.
