Forrest M. Dickerson, age 82, of 3810 Yates Road, died Thursday, March 21, 1991 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Tena Y. Dickerson; five daughters, Martha Pearman and husband, Tom; Rebecca Welcher and husband, Joe; Peggy Willis and husband, Mike; Debbie Edwards and Lisa Maxey, all of Shawsville; two sons Tim Dickerson, Shawsville; Warren Dickerson and wife, Sandra of Biloxie, Miss.; three sisters, Monnie StClair, Salem; Opal Doss and Hattie Aaron, both of Roanoke; a brother, Warren Dickerson, Jr. of Shawsville; five grandchildren, Tony Pearman, Sara Edwards, Amanda and Jamie Willis and Matthew Dickerson; two stepgrandchildren, Debbie and Dorothy; and one stepgreat-grandson. The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel in Christiansburg conducted by the Rev. M.C. Sutphin with burial in the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Cemetery. Friends may call at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
