ROE LEADS CAVALIERS TO VICTORY OVER HOBART

Virginia, the top-ranked team in Division I, faced the best team in Division III, Hobart, and stomped the Statesmen 20-8 Saturday afternoon in men's lacrosse.

Gabby Roe had five goals and two assists for the Cavaliers (6-0), who matched their best start since 1979. Kevin Pehlke added four goals and two assists. UVa outshot Hobart (0-1) 57-38. see microfilm for box score
