In game one, former Floyd County pitcher Vic Hatcher pitched six innings and allowed just four hits for his fourth victory in four starts.
Ben Chow singled home Travis Morgan with two out in the top of the seventh to give the Highlanders the winning margin, and Chris Connolly retired the side in order - striking out two - in the bottom half of the inning for the save.
In the second game, freshman center fielder Rob Cassels went 5-for-6 with four RBI. Cassels had four hits all season coming into the game. His five hits were one shy of the Radford record.
The Highlanders (9-10-3, 4-2), who have won five in a row, scored four times on four hits and four Charleston Southern (9-12, 0-6) errors in the sixth inning.
