FOXHOVEN-COLLINS

Patricia Lee Collins and Daniel Lynn Foxhoven were married March 9, 1991 in Presidio Post Chapel, Presidio of San Francisco, Calif. The officiating clergyman was Monsignor Vincent I. Carroll. The reception was held at Presidio Officer's Club. The matron of honor was Laura Tyree of Roanoke. The bridesmaids were Jeanne Brown, Amy Bagliani, both of Roanoke; and Joyce Umbrell of Indianapolis, Ind. Flowergirl was Molly Wamsley of Morgan Hill, Calif. The best man was Mark Foxhoven of Spencer, Iowa, brother of the groom. The ushers were Kenneth Collins of San Jose, Calif., brother of the bride, Scott Umbrell of Indianapolis, and Ron Defare of San Jose, Calif. Ringbearer was Joshua Ward of San Jose, Calif. The guestbook was attended by Kathy Shaw of San Jose, Calif. The bride wore an exquisite white formal, long sleeve, lace & sequined and seed pearls on silk taffeta gown with long chapel train by Demetrios. She carried a cascade of gardenias, pale pink roses, with accent of white bauvardia, white freesia, stephanotis and ivy. She is the daughter of Colonel and Mrs. Samuel P. Collins, Jr. She graduated from Roanoke College. She is employed by Applied Materials, Santa Clara, Calif., as Software Engineer Supervisor. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Foxhoven of Spencer, Iowa, is a graduate of Devry University, Kansas City, Missouri. He is employed by Applied Materials, Santa Clara, Calif., as an Electrical Engineer. The couple will live in San Jose, Calif., after the wedding trip to St. Lucia in the Caribbean.
