STINSON-BRAINERD

Tamara Faye Brainerd and Daynor Alan Stinson were married on March 9, 1991, in Grace Church. The Rev. Michael Brainerd, brother of the bride, officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the American Legion in Salem. The maid of honor was Lori Brainerd, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Genie Brainerd, sister-in-law of the bride. Flowergirl was Meri Brainerd, sister of the bride. The best man was George Studtmann, of Roanoke. Ushers were Karl Williams, Mesquite, Texas; Doug Forrer, Charlotte, N.C.: and Jay Perry, Dallas, Texas. Ringbearer was Jed Brainerd, brother of the bride. The candlelighters were Karl Williams and Doug Forrer. The bride carried a bouquet of red and white roses. The bride, a daughter of George Brainerd, of Newport, R.I., and Dorothy Brainerd, of Virginia Beach, Va., graduated from Radford University in 1989 and is employed by Richfield Nursing Home. The groom, a son of Jerry Stinson, of Fortson, Ga., and Betty Brown, of Manchester, Ga., is a graduate of Arlington Baptist College, Arlington, Texas, and Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, Texas. He is employed by B. Dalton Booksellers. After the wedding trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C., the newlyweds will live in Salem.
