PULASKI - Kathleen Shelor Cochran, age 61, of 701 Monroe Avenue, Pulaski, Va., died Saturday evening in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem, Va. Born January 18, 1930, in Carroll County, Va., she was the daughter of Mrs. Delsie Vipperman Shelor and the late Levi Shelor. She attended the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pulaski. She was a retired beautician. She was preceded in death by a son, William Robin Cochran. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Delsie Vipperman Shelor, Pulaski; her husband, Rucker Kelsy Cochran Sr.; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Dreama Farmer and George David Farmer Sr., Pulaski; son, Rucker Kelsy Cochran Jr., Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Jay V. Cochran and Mary Manuel Cochran, Barren Springs, Va.; one granddaughter, Kerri Ann Cochran; six grandsons, William Robin Martin, George David Farmer Jr., Terry Lee Farmer, Michael Greg Cochran, James William Cochran, Wesley Bryan Cochran; two great-grandsons, William Robert Martin and Dustin Michael Dooley; two brothers, Vernon Lee Shelor and Edward Eugene Shelor, both of Pulaski; also three nieces. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Pulaski with the Rev. C.R. Conner and the Rev. Kenneth Fogus officiating. Interment will follow in the Hufford Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting will be after 12:00 noon Monday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 Monday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski, is handling the arrangements.
