CHRISTIANSBURG - Elbert Harrison Lester, age 91, died Saturday, March 23, 1991, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Willie (Bonnie) Jarrells, Bassett; Mrs. Tazewell (Jean) Altizer, Star Route, Radford; Mrs. Doug (Peggy) East, Christiansburg; four sons, Billy Lester, Christiansburg; Elbert Lester Jr., Roanoke; Benny Lee Lester and Donald Lester, both of Floyd; one brother, Paul G. Lester, Riner; one sister, Dessie L. Duncan, Radford; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. Homer Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
