VIRGINIA BEACH - Bertha Gaynelle Kent, age 61, formerly of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 23, 1991, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She was a medical technician for Chesapeake General Hospital. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She is survived by her husband, Roy P. Kent, Virginia Beach; daughter, Gayle L. Kent, Radford, Va.; a son, Phil Kent, Mt. Holly, N.J.; three brothers, Truman, J.D., and J.B. Jones, all of Roanoke; five grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, conducted by the Rev. Don McCaskill of Garden City Baptist Church in Roanoke. Arrangements by Holloman-Brown Funeral Homes, Norfolk.
