BEAGLE COLUMN A WASTE OF SPACE

AS A SOMETIME reader of your paper, I find it a source of wonderment that you waste space printing that insipid column by Ben the Beagle.

I do have a couple of questions for the Beagle, though.

Does the greatest station wagon driver in the world allow him to ride with his head out of the window, and was LBJ correct when he said it doesn't hurt them when you pick them up by the ears? BILL SCHILLER ROANOKE
