OBIT-COMPTON, H.

Mrs. Harriett H. Compton, age 103, of 2538 Maycrest St., N.W., passed away Sunday morning, March 24, 1991, in a local hospital. Her husband was the late Lee G. Compton. She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Ranis G. Compton, Roanoke; two daughters, Elizabeth C. Vincent, Roanoke; Carolyn C. Rennie, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, at 2:00 p.m. at the Huntington Court United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bradford L. Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.
