HARDY - Luther Andrew (Joe) Tolbert, age 37, died Sunday in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are his wife, Karen M. Tolbert, Hardy; one son, Joseph Tolbert, Hardy; one daughter, Sabrina Tolbert, Hardy; two stepdaughters, Susie Breeden, Pamela Wilson, both of Radford; his father, L. A. Tolbert, Dublin; his mother, Edith Dickerson, Pulaski; two brothers, John Tolbert, Upton, Ky.; Jackie Tolbert, Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters, Sharon Fathergill, Upton, Ky.; Letha Adams, Berea, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the New River Baptist Temple with the Rev. Bob Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
