Rufus David Hicks, Jr., age 23, died Sunday, March 24, 1991, in a Roanoke hospital. He is survived by his wife, Juanita G. Hicks; one daughter, Jennifer Hicks; one son, David G. Hicks, all of Roanoke; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Rufus D. Hicks, Sr., Rocky Mount; four brothers, Greg Hicks; Earl Hicks; Grady Hicks; Hank Hicks; five sisters, Amy; Alice Cumbie; Lisa Kessler; Melissa Hicks; Loretta Hicks; grandmother, Annie Hicks. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 11:00 a.m. at the Glade Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
