DUBLIN - George Raymond Farmer, age 87, of Rt. 1, Dublin, died Monday in Radford Community Hospital. Born in Pulaski County, November 9, 1905, he was the son of the late Jordan Bascom Farmer and Mary Frances Landrum Farmer. He was a prominent dairy farmer. He is survived by his wife, Katie Morgan Farmer; one son, Robert Jackson Farmer; a daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Farmer, Rt. 1, Dublin; one daughter, Betty F. Sanders, Dublin; three sisters, Eula Farmer, Pulaski; Mary Ellen Osborne, Independence, Va.; Cynthia Butler, Pulaski; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from Mt. View United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.
