OBIT-LAWRENCE, A.

Alvin Winston Lawrence, age 81, of Salem, passed away Monday in a Salem hospital. He was a member of the Green Hill Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Tate Lawrence; one brother, Roman Lawrence, Salem. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem, by the Rev. Dee Flory. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
