BellSouth Corp. on Monday increased its quarterly common stock divided by two cents to 69 cents. The dividend is payable May 1 to shareholders on April 10.

\ Securities and commodities exchanges in the United States will be closed Friday in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Overseas, the only financial markets open will be in Milan and Tokyo. The Roanoke Times & World-News will publish its regular daily report of Thursday's markets on Friday morning and the weekly summary of the securities markets on Saturday.
