According to Commonwealth's Attorney Everett Shockley, Marshall Franklin Metz Jr. was ordered to leave the Hill Top Restaurant on Nov. 23 after fighting with another man, but returned a short time later. He then struck the man's girlfriend in the face.
In another case, Rebecca Lorraine Gill, 31, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute and obtaining controlled drugs by fraud. She was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Shockley said Gill was charged with stealing drugs from Martin's Pharmacy in Pulaski, where she worked. A surveillance camera in the ceiling of the pharmacy taped the theft.
