Parents should come to the school at the designated time, if at all possible, using first letter of parent's last name.
Children who are 5 on or before Sept. 30, 1991, may enter kindergarten. Parents of those who turn 5 after Sept. 30 but before Nov. 30 may petition the school division to enroll the child.
Children who are admitted to kindergarten must have a physical examination within 12 months before opening day. A birth certificate and Social Security card are also required before starting school in September.
