OBIT TYREE, N.

Nannie Lynch Tyree, age 75, passed away Monday afternoon in the Roanoke Memorial Rehab Center. She was a member of the Morningside Missionary Baptist Church. Her church affiliations included Senior Choir, Deaconess Board, Sunday School, Christian Unity Club and was Mother of the Church. Surviving are her husband, Mr. Walter S. Tyree; one daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and William Woods; one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Joanne Tyree; one son-in-law, Ray O. Turner; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Norine Poindexter. Funeral service will be held at the Morningside Baptist Church Thursday, March 28, 1991 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the Morningside Baptist Church Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends.
