CEREMONY TO OPEN NEW WAL-MART STORE

A 72,000-square foot Wal-Mart will open Tuesday at a 9 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony in the new shopping center under development on Memorial Drive.

The store will be managed by Dewey Salyers. It will be open every day - 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sundays.

This will be Wal-Mart's 19th Virginia store. There are more than 1,500 other stores in 34 other states. The Pulaski store features 36 departments, a garden center, a pharmacy and a snack bar.
