WADE, HAZEL S.

Hazel Simpkins Wade, age 75, died Tuesday, March 26, 1991, in Floyd. She was a member of the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church for 38 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Elder James Daniel Wade and a son, Haden Paul Wade. Surviving are four daughters, Rachel White and Glenna Mitchell, both of Radford; Bevin Marshall, Floyd; Joan Heffron, Christiansburg; two sons, James Wade and Roger Wade, both of Radford; two sisters, Ruth Terry, Floyd; Donna Wilson, Radford; five brothers, Eugene Simpkins, Manchester, Md.; Ellis Simpkins and Erby Simpkins, both of Radford; Seibert Simpkins, Hiwassee; Curtis Simpkins, Christiansburg; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Sidney Rakes and Elder Kenneth Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Sand Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
