TECH CORNERBACK EARNS STRENGTH HONOR

Karl Borden, a senior on last year's Virginia Tech football team, was named a 1990 National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American athlete.

More than 125 athletes from 85 institutions earned the award, which is given to athletes who have benefitted from strength training and conditioning. Selections are also based on community involvement, academic achievement and leadership qualities. - Staff report
