At Windermere, Fla., property ranging from golf carts to putters were seized from the Isleworth Country Club to help cover more than $3.9 million in legal fees owed from a lawsuit the developers lost last year.

Golfer Arnold Palmer, who designed the course, is a part owner of the southwest Orange County community and has a home there.

Deputies are seizing the property under court order because the defendants, including Palmer, didn't post a bond to cover the legal fees while they appeal a pollution case, officials said.

College players and foreign-based pros, not NHL players, will be used on the 1992 U.S. Olympic Hockey team.

***CORRECTION***

Published correction ran on March 28, 1991.

In a story in some editions of Wednesday's Sports section, The Associated Press reported erroneously that NHL players would not be used in selecting the 1992 U.S. Olympic hockey team.

In fact, Olympic hockey coach Dave Peterson said he would make use of any NHL playes available but that he did not expect many to meet the criterium because of conflicts with their professional teams' season schedule.
