CIVIC CENTER PARKING INADEQUATE

AS A CITIZEN born and raised in Roanoke, I think it is awful the way the city has activities at the Civic Center and not enough parking space.

One recent night, tow trucks were towing off cars as fast as they could get to them. You pay to get into the Civic Center, return and find your car towed away, then have to telephone and pay cab fare, also a towing fee. Why doesn't the city pay all businesses to use their parking spaces, or sell just enough tickets to accommodate parking on the lot? People tell what happens to them; it sure makes Roanoke look awful bad. SUTTIE ECONOMY ROANOKE
