Mrs. Edna Jane Bowman Culler, age 89, of Route 1, Laurel Fork, Va., and widow of Samuel Culler, died at the Twin County Hospital in Galax, Va. Mrs. Culler was born in Carroll Co. Va., March 22, 1902, the daughter of Granville and Elizabeth Bowman, and was a member of the Rome Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Eveolene Culler Walters, Ona West, Va.; Mrs. Irene Culler Hiatt, Laurel Fork, Va.; three sons, Moyer Culler, Laurel Fork, Va.; James E. Culler, Winston-Salem; and Wesley Culler, Roanoke, Va.; 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Oma Pack, Mrs. Georgia Reynolds and Mrs. Zelma Mabe, all of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Rome Missionary Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. John D. Bowman and Rev. Harris Easter, with burial in the church cemetery. Her body will remain at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy until carried to the church to lie in state 30-Minutes before the services and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
