`WELCOME HOME' PARADE IN PULASKI

The town and Pulaski Main Street will sponsor a "welcome home" parade and rally July 4 for the nearly 100 Pulaski County residents who served in the Persian Gulf.

Plans are to start the parade at 10 a.m. and continue with a rally in Jackson Park until 1 p.m. Jackson Park was the site of a Jan. 26 rally in support of the Operation Desert Storm troops.

People on a committee headed by Jim Delehanty, who pushed for the earlier Pulaski rally, are now seeking names of Persian Gulf veterans to invite them to attend and be recognized.

Anyone with relatives who have been stationed in the Persian Gulf can furnish the information to the committee by telephoning Arleta Brown at 980-7811 or Doris Larson at 980-1000, extension 34.
